Thanks for all the nice comments about my visit with Michelle on The Adoption Show. It was a great experience and I encourage everyone to make any donation possible to help Michelle continue to provide such informative programming.

Things have been very quiet lately.  I had a nice conversation with B. the other night. It appears that we can’t find a date that works for both of us until November to get together. I was hoping to “go north” and do some apple picking type stuff. She is taking a mysterious class for the next few weeks and won’t tell me anything about it. The holidays aren’t far off…what do you think?

Lately, I have been searching online for information on oil rig workers. R. worked on oil rigs until his death. I didn’t realize but the terms “redneck” and “roughnecks” supposedly originated from oil riggers. There is an old film called Five Easy Pieces that looks good and I moved it to the top of my netflix list. I am almost caught up with the American version of The Office which is not only hysterical but strangely accurate.

I had a great conversation with Michelle at The Adoption Show last week. The show should air in the near future so keep your eyes peeled!

I have to say that I was surprised how fast that hour went by.  I also have to say I am completely fascinated by Michelle’s personal history and I highly suggest reading her biography on the website. Although the stories are very different, there is a similarity in that our bio-fathers were drifters and/or loners.

I have been busy at work but I will get back to posting soon.
