This has been a crazy week. I have been rushing around trying to get stuff done for vacation and the holidays. To mess things up, we got a major snowstorm Thursday which dumped about 13 inches of the white stuff everywhere. I feel like I just got done cleaning up and they are predicting another storm tomorrow!
Monday, I am having lunch with my paternal half-sister. She and I have spoken on the phone but never met so it should be quite interesting. She is 8 months younger than me. Despite all the drama back then, her mother has been very welcoming. Actually, I recieved a nice card from her yesterday. Speaking of Christmas cards, I have gone from mailing three to mailing two dozen! What is the old saying? Careful what you wish for…
I am headed up north Wednesday. I need to get a little more shopping done for B. and others. I bought her a Thymes Fir Candle which has just an incredible scent…I bought one for myself too. I will stop at the gift shop later today.
On another note, I decided that I wanted to start another blog about food. I got it all set up and my mind went blank. I heard a blogger on the radio the other day saying that he has a strict rule that he writes for at least 15 minutes a week. It is so easy to get side tracked.
Does anyone else have tips on not getting blogger burn out?
