I watched with great amusement the last few days as John McCain told us that we should let the candidates keep their family’s lives private. This came after the recent announcement that Sarah Palin’s “abstinence only’ beliefs apparently fell on the deaf ears.
As I ate dinner last night, I thought I heard something on CNN about the McCain Adoption Story. As I did more research, I discovered that the McCains adopted a little girl from Bangladesh. Admirable.
I don’t usually do “political” on this blog BUT I am sickened that Mr. “Private Family Life” McCain is now trotting this poor girl around as part of his campaign. He should be ashamed of himself! Read this:

I wouldn’t question the McCains’ intentions in adopting a Bangladeshi girl, even if it gave them a good photo-op. All I can say is that cheating on a handicapped wife in favor of hot young stuff who can get your political career going with her heiress money, as McCain did, shows a man’s character a lot more. But, I can still recall the 2000 Republican primary in South Carolina, when Karl Rove’s minions spread rumors throughout the state about McCain having fathered an illegitimate black child, helping Bush win the candidacy. It’s no wonder the McCains would want to clear up the air of accusations their own party made.
