Today is the start of my vacation week!
I was dozing off last night watching the new Law and Order: Criminal Intent episodes and my cell phone started ringing. I didn’t check it until this morning because most folks know I am long gone by 9:30 pm…
Anyway, I checked it this morning and there was a “urgent” message from G. She is the woman who was my Bdad’s girlfriend/ wife who lives in Texas. It is funny because I was just thinking about her recently. I am conflicted about contact with her because she is obviously somewhat demented. I think I told you she had called my work once and tearfully questioned a CSR about me.
But on the other hand, I do have a soft spot for the downtrodden. It seems like it wouldn’t require a lot of effort to send her a few cards and letters and I think she would appreciate it. And I don’t think she has the means to appear on my doorstep.
I am off to the chiropractor this morning and a quick trip to work to finish up a few things. I am also hoping my new iPhone will be there. I had it delivered there because they will not leave it without a signature. I am very excited about that!!!

And you are right, it would not require a lot of effort to send her a few cards and letters and she would appreciate it.
I write this not knowing where my son is with his birth father and half sister, I do not ask. It kills me not to ask – but I do not ask about amom either. Not from “not caring” but just not wanting to step into his space.
Anyway you are right, I don’t think she has the means to appear on your doorstep. But she did know about you which meant your father thought of you and I think that means something.

My advice for what’s its worth! Don’t encourage this woman in any way unless you really want her in your life.

My husband is OBSESSED with the new iphone, and to make it even more exciting they are not available yet, everybody wants one!!
That’s nice of you to be kind to the woman, it must be hard to find the balance with all that.
You will no doubt be pressing buttons and awwing and aahing over your iphone by now!
